# Core features

> A quick tour of the core features in dePortal.

This page gives you a clear view of everything in dePortal. It explains what each section does, what data you will find there, and the typical outcomes for users, operators, and developers.

## Dashboard

A high level overview of network health and market context in one place.

**What you can see**

* Current block height and block time
* Token price, staking APR, market cap, trading volume
* Tokenomics and supply dynamics
* Staking rewards over time
* Governance status at a glance
* Top validators by stake and activity
* Ecosystem highlights and useful links

**When to use it**\
Open the Dashboard first to understand current conditions before you stake, run infra, or make decisions based on network activity.

## Operators

A control room for validator discovery and performance.

**Key views**

* **Validators**: list of validators with voting power, commission, rank, and status. Sort and filter to compare options.
* **Uptime**: reliability view with recent success and missed blocks visualized per validator.
* **Events**: feed of changes like large delegations, commission updates, and status flips.

**Outcomes**\
Pick credible validators, monitor your own performance, and react early to changes that affect rewards and reliability.

## Governance

A full list of proposals and their status.

**What you can do**

* Scan **Live Proposals** to see what is open for voting
* Review **All Proposals** with ID, title, type, status, and voting end
* Open a proposal to read details and track progress

**Outcome**\
Know what is changing at protocol level and plan your actions around voting windows.

## Analytics

Analytics is a deep dive into network activity, accounts, economics, staking, and validator structure. Each tab focuses on a different question.

### Activity

* Transactions per day, transactions per block, and TPS trends
* Average block time and distribution
* Use it to spot traffic spikes and throughput limits

### Accounts

* Total and active accounts over time
* New accounts per day
* Top addresses by balance and share of supply
* Use it to understand adoption and distribution

### Economics

* Circulating vs total supply
* Market cap and fully diluted valuation
* Network fee revenue
* Use it to frame token economics and long term dynamics

### Staking

* Share of tokens staked and unstaked
* Delegator count and participation
* APR vs inflation context
* Use it to evaluate expected returns and security

### Validators

* Stake distribution across large, medium, small, and micro operators
* Delegator distribution and concentration
* Use it to assess decentralization and risk

## Ecosystem

A curated directory of apps, SDKs, explorers, bridges, wallets, and infra.

**What you can do**

* Browse by category and tag
* Open verified links to build or integrate faster

## Global Map

A global map of nodes and endpoints.

**What you can do**

* Toggle location vs heatmap
* See counts by nodes, countries, and cities
* Review a table with IP, moniker, region, country, provider, and status

**Outcome**\
Pick regions that match your latency and redundancy goals.

## Explorer

The Explorer gives you raw chain views for debugging and research.

### Blocks

* Recent blocks with height, proposer, tx count, total gas and fee, and participation
* Drill into a block to see transactions and signatures

### Transactions

* Latest transactions with status, block, message type, sender, receiver, amount, and fee
* Filters for faster triage

### Accounts

* Account list with available balance, delegations, rewards, vesting, total balance
* Type flags like base, bonded, continuous vesting
* Activity metrics and last seen

## Tools

### Staking Calculator

An interactive model for projected rewards.

**Inputs**

* Stake amount in tokens or USD
* Validator or custom APY
* Compounding frequency and duration
* Market price and fees

**Outputs**

* Gross and net rewards
* Compounded vs non compounded comparison
* Effective APY over time

### Endpoints Scanner

A checker for RPC, REST, and gRPC endpoints.

**What you can do**

* See network height, block time, and status at the top
* Benchmark endpoints by latency and sync height
* Pick the best endpoint for your region and workload

### Faucet

A test environment faucet for development.

**What you can do**

* Enter a wallet address and request a fixed amount of test tokens
* Review recent faucet transfers and rate limits

## Infra

### Services

A single page with connection details for test networks: RPC, gRPC, REST, peer lists, and snapshot links. Copy and paste the exact URLs when configuring nodes.

### Snapshots

Downloadable snapshots for fast bootstrapping. The page lists snapshot type, height, size, and checksum with step by step restore commands.

### StateSync

Instructions to bootstrap via state sync. It explains required settings, provides the trust height and hash, and shows config snippets to get to the latest state quickly.

## Tips for getting results faster

* Start on the **Dashboard** to set context, then jump to **Analytics** for depth
* Use **Operators → Uptime** to validate reliability before delegating
* Use **Endpoints Scanner** to pick a low latency endpoint before running heavy workloads
* Keep **Snapshots** and **StateSync** handy to recover or scale infra quickly
